An innovative network is expanding patient access to hepatitis C treatment options across Virginia.
Virginia Hepatitis C Education and Patient Connection (HEPC) is a network dedicated to increasing knowledge, facilitating access to care by reducing barriers, building capacity for local hepatitis C treatment through training, and ensuring equitable access to hepatitis C treatment across Virginia. VA HEPC focuses on equity in rural geographic areas, decreasing stigmas associated with current or past substance use and including those who are justice-involved.
