Partner with Virginia HEPC

Clinicians or care teams can refer to the Virginia HEPC Telemedicine program after receiving a positive HCV RNA PCR on a patient to improve access to specialty services offered locally through their clinics or organizations.

VA HEPC also collaborates with partner organizations by arranging standing orders for necessary lab work onsite — when such services are available —or by directing patients to a convenient local lab when they are not. Upon request, VA HEPC can draft a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the partnership. Additionally, VA HEPC provides regular progress reports on patients throughout the treatment process to support ongoing collaboration.

The Minority AIDS Support Services strives to improve the lives of people living in the Eastern Shore region by providing HIV/ STI education, testing, and case management resources. Beyond testing, education and advocacy, we provide housing, food, and transportation resources for positive people in need.

AIDS Response Effort (ARE)

ARE provides free HIV/STI testing within the community. We do lab based testing and rapid testing for HIV & Hepatitis C. Provide linkage to care and referrals to support services.

Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition (VHRC)

Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition (VHRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, peer-run organization whose mission is to improve the health of the community it serves by advocating for, developing, and implementing evidence-based solutions to mitigate the adverse effects of drug use.

We are a nonprofit, peer-run organization that serves Harrisonburg City and Rockingham, Page and Shenandoah Counties in Virginia. Our organization is comprised of individuals who have overcome substance use, mental health, and trauma-related challenges. Grounded in our lived experiences, our mission is to offer hope, support and advocacy for those seeking recovery so that they can build resilience and thrive in their lives and communities.
