Partner with Virginia HEPC

Clinicians or care teams can refer to the Virginia HEPC Telemedicine program after receiving a positive HCV RNA PCR on a patient to improve access to specialty services offered locally through their clinics or organizations.

VA HEPC also collaborates with partner organizations by arranging standing orders for necessary lab work onsite — when such services are available —or by directing patients to a convenient local lab when they are not. Upon request, VA HEPC can draft a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the partnership. Additionally, VA HEPC provides regular progress reports on patients throughout the treatment process to support ongoing collaboration.

The partnership that we have built with VA HEPC program has been simply amazing. From the referral process to the 12-week follow-up, the collaboration is solid to provide seamless service for the clients. Terry, Andrea, Lisa, and Dr. Dillingham are amazing. The education that clients receive helps them remain adherent to the medication and to lab follow up. The MASS and VA HEP C collaboration can be a model for organizations throughout the United States. The work that is being done at the VA HEP C program is second to none.
